Phillip has worked at Connor selling men’s clothing and accessories since March last year. He moved to the Sunshine Marketplace store in November and loves bantering with customers.

Connor offers stylish menswear, accessories and shoes – whether it be a suit for the races or casual, everyday items. The store location at Sunshine Marketplace is conveiniently close to other retailers and food outlets, so there’s always time for a quick bite and some retail therapy.

Phillip loves the range of basic t-shirt colours at Connor that are easily matched with any outfit. Getting to know the customers and their style is a highlight – “I love helping people find outfits for an occasion or assisting them to express their individual style”.

The store is frequented by regular customers who rely on Phillip for fashion advice and a friendly ear. “I like getting to know our regulars and listening to their stories”, Phillip recalls.

There’s a sense of community and friendly atmosphere at Sunshine Marketplace. “When the store first opened, other shop owners and employees came in to welcome us to the centre”, shares Phillip.

A little interesting fact that Philip let slip – despite his British accent, he wasn’t actually born in England! During his breaks, Phillip is likely getting his sugar hit at Donut King or eyeing off the variety of yummy food at the precinct.
